Western Port Parish extends from Somerville in its northern end to Hastings and Shoreham in the south. The Parish Centre is located in Marine Parade Hastings, but Westernport Parish has three Mass centres for places of worship, namely:
- Immaculate Conception Church Hastings
- St Brendan’s Somerville (Austin Rd Somerville)
- St Peter’s Shoreham (Byrnes Rd Shoreham)

Sacrament of Confirmation in Western
Sincere thanks to all who participated in preparation for Sacrament of Confirmation, including all the volunteers, principals, REL teachers and school staff, parents/guardians and, of course, our 43 children from all three Catholic schools and a non-Catholic school, who were confirmed by Bishop Tony Ireland at St Brendan’s Church Somerville and Immaculate Conception Church Hastings at the end of July.

Lenten Reconciliation mass and service – Mercy Night
As the Catholic Church celebrates the Jubilee Year, Western Port Parish invites you to a Lantern Reconciliation Service in preparation for Holy Week on Wednesday, April 9th, at 6:00 PM at Hastings Church. Let us come together as a family to seek God's mercy for our past iniquities, reconcile our hearts, and renew our faith in Him. The evening will include a Reconciliation Mass, followed by a short penitential service. Two priests will be available for individual confessions. Take this opportunity for spiritual cleansing and renewal.
