Western Port Parish extends from Somerville in its northern end to Hastings and Shoreham in the south. The Parish Centre is located in Marine Parade Hastings, but Westernport Parish has three Mass centres for places of worship, namely:
- Immaculate Conception Church Hastings
- St Brendan’s Somerville (Austin Rd Somerville)
- St Peter’s Shoreham (Byrnes Rd Shoreham)

Sacrament of Confirmation in Western
Sincere thanks to all who participated in preparation for Sacrament of Confirmation, including all the volunteers, principals, REL teachers and school staff, parents/guardians and, of course, our 43 children from all three Catholic schools and a non-Catholic school, who were confirmed by Bishop Tony Ireland at St Brendan’s Church Somerville and Immaculate Conception Church Hastings at the end of July.

Saturday - 10.00am-10.30am Reconciliation at Hastings
Saturday - 6.00pm Mass at St Brendan's Church, Somerville
Sunday - 8.00am Mass at St Peter’s Church, Shoreham
Sunday - 10.00am Mass at Immaculate Conception Church Hastings

RCIA IN OUR PARISH
RCIA stands for the “Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults”. Our RCIA team is ready to welcome any participants who would like to inquire about becoming a Catholic. The second session will be on Thursday 7th November at 7:00pm in the Parish Centre in Hastings, 71 Marine Parade. Please encourage any of your family or friends to consider the inquiry stage. There is no obligation to commit to continuing if the decision is made to not proceed. Please contact the Parish Office (5979 4374) with names and details.
