Dear families,

Modd Lisa

LISA MODD

CO-DIRECTOR, ROSEBUD CAMPUS

As 2024 draws to a close, we want to express our deepest gratitude to our parents, students, and staff for their tireless efforts and unwavering support throughout the year. Together, we have achieved so much and overcome challenges with resilience and unity. Your contributions make our college the vibrant and welcoming place it is.

Celebrating Mr Kerwin’s New Arrival

We are delighted to share some joyful news — Mr Daniel Kerwin and his wife Amber have welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world! Charlie James was born on the 26thNovember, just in time for Christmas. This exciting milestone brings happiness to our community, and we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Kerwin family. May their new addition bring endless joy and cherished moments.

Farewell

We bid a fond farewell to two cherished members of our community, Andrea Cummins and Audrey Halliday.

Andrea has been an integral part of our college, bringing dedication, warmth, and inspiration to both staff and students. In her time at the Rosebud campus, Andrea has been in several leadership roles, as the Goold House Coordinator and the Rosebud Aspire9 Coordinator. Andrea’s fond love of nature has led to plant and animal studies being an elective which all students want to be involved in. We know that you will embrace your retirement with gusto. We thank you for your dedication and care that you have shown to all in our school community.

Audrey, with her vibrant spirit and contributions, has also left a lasting impression on our college family.

We thank them both for their incredible work and wish them all the best in their future endeavours. Their presence will be deeply missed, but we are excited for what lies ahead for them.

Merry Christmas

On behalf of the college, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a joyful, peace filled holiday season. May this time be filled with love, laughter, and the company of those who matter most. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year, refreshed and ready for another exciting chapter.

God bless,

Phil Helisma and Lisa Modd

Holiday Reading Competition

The library is excited to announce that students can borrow books over the upcoming holiday period!

To make it even more fun, we’re launching a competition, open to students across all campuses. Students simply take a photo of a book they’ve borrowed while on holiday—whether it’s a biography beach read, a murder mystery whilst on a mountain escape, or a sci-fi short story on the sofa —students simply share their happy snap via library@padua.vicedu.au. The most creative photos will win amazing prizes.

As always, students can borrow up to 10 books at a time.

Student Photo Permissions
At times, photographs or videos of our students will be published in newsletters, on the school intranet or website, or in our social media. Copies of our Standard Collection Notice and Privacy Policy are available on the College website in the Enrolments section of our Policies page. Please note that consent to use these images in this way, if provided at enrolment, may be withdrawn at any time by contacting our marketing team via email: marketing@padua.vic.edu.au .
