It is with great sadness that we farewell Mrs Christine Main (Library), Kaye O’Day (Food Technician) and Mr Peter O’Halloran (Faith Co-ordinator) who will be retiring at the end of this year. Chris, Kaye and Peter have played an integral and important role over the many years in educating our young people to be the best versions of themselves. They will be truly missed. We also wish Tessa Houlihan (LSO) all the very best as she embarks on her teaching vocation at Nazareth College and Kate Hannah (LSO) who also will be commencing her teaching career at Rosebud Secondary College in 2024.
Amid the rush and chaos of finishing off a busy year, attending end-of-year functions, trying to clear ‘to-do’ lists, Christmas cooking, and present buying, let us take some time to stop. Take a moment or two from our active lives, step aside from the busyness, the rushing from here to there, to remember we are in the sacred season of Advent. It is a time to reflect, to look for the quiet among the noise, to see the holy amid the mess, to wait, to hope, to believe. During these days of Advent as we journey towards Christmas, let us take some time to stop and be mindful.
Finally, we wish you all a peaceful, safe, and holy Christmas.
God Bless,
Lisa and Phil
