The Trocaire (pronounced Trocara) Award, seeks to recognise students who exhibit a willingness to work in the spirit of their House for other members of the Padua College community or for the broader community in general.

Grace Hamilton

Congratulations to Grace Hamilton, Year 7 Kolbe, winner of the 65cm Show Jumping event at Boneo in August.

Harry Geary

Harry Geary, Year 12 Elizabeth, has been away competing in the World Speed Championships in Montecchio Maggiore/Vicenza, Italy, 26 August - 3 September. Harry recently won the title of Overall Junior Men Champion for Oceania Championships in 2023 by winning Gold in the 10km points race, 15km Elimination Race, 42k Marathon, and 5k Relay as well as Bronze in the 1 Lap Final. This is Harry's last year as a Junior, and he is hoping to improve on his top 15 performance from last year's world championships.

Harry has trained hard this year, on and off of the track, and undertook high-intensity training with the USA team in Germany in May. He has been competing really well all year winning a number of trophies and podium positions and has been training super hard from off-skate training such as SWIFT cycling and strength training at the gym.
