Term 3 continues at pace and as always there is so much happening at Padua College, amongst the SIS Sport, SIS Teen Chef, House Athletics Carnival and of course, we also have our day-to-day lessons and activities.

Junior Athletics

Congratulations to all involved in the Junior Campus Athletics Day on Wednesday 31 July. I was so impressed with the behaviour, performance and positive support for peers shown by all of our students. Students and staff worked collectively with many parents proudly watching on.

Thank you to Luke Morgan and Holly Debnam for planning and leading the day, thank you to all Padua support staff and Senior Sport and Recreation Students who supervised events ensuring the day was a great success.

Finally, congratulations to all the students, particularly the Champions on the day, Chisholm House and Ms Anne Marie Furness as House Co-ordinator. Well done also to Sebastian and Assisi for finishing on the podium.

The Olympic Spirit was indeed on show!

Hands on Learning

On Friday 2 August, Padua College students participated in a productive working bee at St Chad's Church in Chelsea, joining forces with other Hands on Learning (HOL) schools from the Mornington HOL Group. The day was dedicated to various projects, including painting the interior of the hall, renovating and painting outdoor furniture, and tackling gardening tasks.

The event was a great success, providing a fantastic opportunity for collaboration with other HOL schools while contributing to a meaningful project. Our students showcased outstanding work ethic and community spirit, making the day enjoyable and fulfilling for everyone involved. Well done to all.
